The Top Cam Drive Shaft on the Pill Press runs from the Left to the right and keeps the entire press in time.

The timing cam for the Lower Drift Pin Assembly and the timing Cam for the Boot also both sit on the cam. Finally in the middle is the Eccentric Sheave that controls the timing of the upper drift pin assembly. 

The cam comes with out any of the attachments on it. You will also require a large strong rubber mallet to be able to insert the Top Cam Shaft in to the base.
